Tremonton.

Tremonton. Noun. Pronounced [Tree-mon-en] the T is often forgotten. Also known as Tree-town, land of few trees, Bear River Valley and as I like to refer to it, God’s country. Now I may be a bit biased, but I would argue I grew up in the best little town in the state of Utah. Never mind it is in the middle of nowhere, you blink and you may miss it, and is often referred to by tourists as the “potty stop.” I absolutely love my hometown and coming back and visiting. Here are a few reasons why I love Tremonton, Utah besides the obvious “I love it because my familia and friends still lives there and all the memories associated with them…”
Bear River High School: I spent a huge chunk of my time at the fine institution. If I wasn’t in class, I was at practice for one of the sports I played. If I wasn’t practicing I was cheering on my state champion basketball team or the semi-average football team. If I wasn’t in the bleachers cheering I was there for a dance or a club activity. The list goes on and on. The one thing about the lovely Bear River Valley is there is a plethora amount of school spirit, not just from the students but from the community. A sports team makes it the state championship and the schools, stores, and whole town shut down for a few hours.
Garland Tabernacle: Yep, this immaculate building is where I go to church. Not only do we have 2 pulpits in our chapel, we also have an upstairs balcony and a wall filled with glass stained windows. This is an ancient and beautiful building. So ancient I wouldn’t be surprised if the benches in the chapel were the originals that the pioneers built. The only reason I say that is because they are hard and almost impossible to fall asleep on. This also the building where my ward continually kicked everyones trash in churchball. G2 Forever!
PizzaPlus: Not only does this pizza joint have the world’s best breadsticks but they also have the world’s best employees. Or at least that was the case when I worked there. This lovely building is where I worked all throughout high school. It was a pretty amazing job filled with lots of fattening pizza. During my long stay at PizzaPlus I met some of my best friends. Good ol’ Jake, Alex, David, Austin, Chantry, Annalee and I had some pretty wild times from smashing boxes, creating cotton candy creations, to peanut butter pizza and silly convos from sleep deprived workers.
Pie Dump: I just had to throw this in because of the amazing Hot Rolls. You haven’t lived until you have tried one of those little pieces of heaven. The doughnuts and chicken strips are also highly recommended.
Garland City Building: I often refer to this building as the Party Building. Not only was my surprise 16th birthday in the building but this is where our youth city council meetings were held and they were a party every week. We never got much accomplished during these meetings. Most of us were too concerned with the after-meeting party: milkshakes at Artic Circle.

And my most favorite part of Tremonton…the big empty spaces: this is a picture I took once of the drive from the school to my house. There are a lot of empty fields, tractors, horses, and not a whole bunch of trees (the main reason why I think the name Tremonton is so ironic). This town full of bare spaces results in the use of some very creative weekend adventures. Cow tipping, swimming in canals, ghost hunting, and movie nights in motor homes to name a few.

As you can tell Tremonton is an amazing place and i am proud to call this lil piece of earth "home"

Christmas.

CHRISTMAS! By far my favorite holiday. What is there not to love about food, presents, family, parties, and did I mention food? This Christmas was a bit different from previous years. My mom had surgery on Tuesday and then again the day before Christmas Eve. So the role of mom was placed on my shoulders (not gonna lie, I made some pretty good looking rolls). My mom is a trooper though. Every Christmas Eve we have a tradition of going to Logan and going to a movie and then out to dinner. Even though my mom was in pain and on drugs from the surgery, she still came with us. I was amazed! I think she was sure feeling it the next day though. This was also a weird Christmas because Courtnie wasn’t around to open presents with us now that she is married and all. It was odd because my turn to open a present came so much quicker. Anyway, here are some pictures documenting our festive day, please just pretend I did my make-up and hair for the day. I know I am not looking the prettiest….

Rockin' my new Jazz Shirt and Jersey Shore PJs. Thanks Markellie

All my Presents...Santa spoiled me this year.

One of my favorite presents...my jazz parties will be complete!

Carlie Jo.

Today Carlie moved out. I miss her already and its only been about 6 hours since I have seen her last. We have had some good times this semester, I am just sad this semester has gone by so fast. Carlie is going to be remembered for her amazing cooking abilities. She cooks some mad crepes, tator tot casserole, and chicken enchiladas. She introduced me to this great invention called Wafflecone Wednesday and Yozone too. Carlie has put up with my Utah Jazz obsession, my ability to always distract her from her studies, and my sometimes forgetfulness to make my bed some mornings. The good thing is we both love sleep equally. We both go to sleep super early which makes things easy. She has definitely been one of the best roommates I have ever had, nevermind I have only had 2 roommates in my whole life. Oh how I will miss her. Amigos forever! She better come visit or else…

Here are some pictures documenting our time together this semester...

Christmas Newsletter.

Here is our annual Christmas Newsletter from me and Markel. Written by yours truly. Enjoy!

Dearest Family, Friends, Acquaintances, Strangers, and whoever else may read this,

Even though we have moved out and are now living on our own, we didn’t want to break family tradition. So we decided to create our own little family newsletter to keep the world updated on the events happening in Happy Valley and good ol’ apartment C208. There is never a boring moment in our lives, which I am sure you will agree after reading about our many experiences. So without farther ado let me introduce the roommates…

Cami: is the older and wiser roommate. She is dubbed as the responsible one and is often seen carrying around Markel’s important documents. Cami is studying at Utah Valley University and is majoring in political science. She is hoping to run for president of the United States in 2026, so make sure you vote for her. As she has learned in her classes, it is never too early to start campaigning. Cami is also an ambassador of UVU, so if you want a free t-shirt she will hook you up.

Markel: will also respond to Martha May, Murkell, or Vaca Sucia. Markel is working at the Marriott Towneplace Suites in Orem. She was just named as Employee of the Quarter and won’t let anyone forget it. If you are ever in the Orem area stop by the hotel and check out her picture and plaque. She will even send out autographed pictures of herself if you ask. Markel is known as the home décor. She always has a new design plan up her sleeve. Markel is also known for her lack of sleep. For some odd reason she can run just fine off no sleep. That is definitely a talent.

Carlie: everyone in our apartment would starve without this woman. She is an excellent cook. Unfortunately she has decided she would rather run off and get married so this means that we are going to have to go back and resort to the good ol’ Ramen Noodles and Mac’n’cheese. Carlie has introduced us to this beautiful thing called Wafflecone Wednesday and Yozone which we have greatly appreciated. We all like Ike though, so I guess we will let her abandon us. She better visit though.

Kelli: the convicted felon who served in the relief society presidency. Yep, we didn’t stutter, we lived with a convicted felon for about four months. You can check out her mug shots in the Wanted Magazine if you want to learn what she looks like. It might come in handy so you know when to take extra precautions with your credit cards. She has finally found her soulmate and they plan to wed. We are all placing bets on how long the marriage lasts. If you want to add money to the pool and place a bet, feel free.

Na’Shaya: our soul sista friend. Thank goodness we escaped being roommates with this chica in July. She was known for her 3 am cooking of fried chicken, fried twinkies, and anything else in the kitchen she could fry. She was also known for her sketchy ways of throwing knives (at us), bringing her risky sorority sisters over, and smoking weed in her bedroom (opps, I meant just storing “scented beads” as she claimed).

Now no college experience is complete with random, absurd, and dangerous adventures. Here are a few…
The Utah Jazz: thanks to our trusty security guard friend Cameron F. we have had the opportunity to get to know all the jazz players. We are dedicated and loyal fans. If we aren’t at the game we are sitting on our couch, if we aren’t on our couch we are at Iggys watching it on the big screen, if we aren’t at Iggys we are getting 30 second updates sent to our phones. For lack of a better term, we are obsessed.
Disneyland: We were granted the opportunity to go to sunny California in June with our familia. We ran our bodies dead. We were first in line every morning and the last to leave the park. The employees always yelled at us because we had a tendency of running from ride to ride. We did discover a new favorite ride though, Dumbo! What can I say, we are young at heart.
PizzaPieCafe: our hangout spot. We are addicted. It doesn’t help they send out texts regularly with steal of deals. I highly recommend trying it out. The Spudalicious pizza is the best, as is the cookie dough one.
Concerts: some may look at us and thing we are concert junkies. The truth is we only go because we seem to have good luck and win free tickets. Hands down the best concert this year was Backstreet Boys. Nothing is better than sitting row 3 and jamming out to songs that remind me of my youth. Other favorite concerts we attended this year include Tim Mcgraw, Lady Antabellum, Jason Derulo, B.o.B, and Neon Trees.

Here is just a brief outline of our many experiences. Believe me, there were too many to name. If you want to learn more about us, stalk us. Befriend us on Facebook, follow us on twitter, or join our blog. We would also appreciate any advice you have on how to avoid psycho roommates. We seem to get a lot of them and the only normal one we have ever had (Carlie) is moving out. Bummer summer. May you all have happy holidays and an eventful new year. We are all excited to see what this new year brings us. Pray it is marriage (just kidding). If not we will be on leaving on missions or dead because we were stuck with yet another psycho roommate.

Peace, Love, and Happiness…

Cami & Markel

Finals Week.

Finals week is here upon us. Here are a few of my suggestions on how to survive. Good luck ya’ll.

How to survive Finals Week
1. Move into the library- just start packing your pajamas and toothbrush in your backpack and spend the majority of your time in the good ol’ library. This is beneficial for two reasons. First, it is quiet, so it is easy to concentrate. Second, if you are looking for distractions, there are a ton of weirdos hanging out getting way to into their World of Warcraft. They can be pretty entertaining to watch.
2. Take a break- now studying for a week straight can get pretty old. So take a break. Go grab dinner (highly recommend Café Rio), finish up some Christmas shopping or watch the jazz game. (go jazz go!)
3. Sleep- ahh, nothing is better than a good nights sleep. Even a quick cat nap can get the job done.
4. Visit your family (or friends)- in my case, I visit my grandma. She feeds me dinner. It’s a win-win situation. I get fed and she gets to see me. You know what they say, its better to think on a full stomach.
5. Study in groups- this is your last time to get to know that hottie in your class. It’s a genius way to get his number, spend some time with him, oh...and study.
6. Reward yourself- if you have survived finals week, pat yourself on the back. Make someone take you out to dinner, bake you cookies, or throw you a little parade. Conquering finals week is not an easy task.
7. Don’t stress- now I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer, but odds are if you don’t know the material now, you aren’t going to know it later. So don’t freak out. It happens to the best of us. You are going to fail a class every now and again. Its called life.

Darci.

Meet my little sister named Darci. Don’t let the word “little” confuse you though. She is much taller than me. She even looks older than me sometimes. I once had a co-worker think that she was my older sister when she stopped by. Darci is one of the happiest, kindest, strongest, hardest working people I know. She doesn’t let mean comments from others, high school drama, or serious trials damper her moods. She would do anything for anybody. That includes letting me constantly borrow her clothes when I go home and “forget” something, letting me drag her along to the ballroom dance concert at UVU, and letting me pick on her and make fun of her and her love interest (she is my little sister, I got to give her a hard time. Right?). I honestly don’t know what I would do without this woman. I wouldn’t have anybody there singing “Love at Home” when me and my other sister were fighting, I wouldn’t have anybody to tickle my back during church, I wouldn’t have anyone to shop with and pick out the shortest Christmas books, and I wouldn’t have anybody to text me and brighten my day. Darci, if you are stalking my blog and reading this right now…I sure do love you!

(500)Days of Summer.

This is not a love story. This is a story about love.

(500)Days of Summer. Easily makes my list of top five greatest movies in the history of the world. I highly recommend it. It is so romantic. The date scene in Ikea left me speechless… “Darling, I don’t know how to tell you this but…there is a Chinese family in our bathroom?” Don’t get me wrong though. This is definitely no love story, no happy ending, no fairy tale. It changed my perspective on love. I think that is why I absolutely love it so much. This is a movie about reality. Just like the tagline says, “Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love. Girl Doesn’t.”

Black Friday.

Black Friday. Easily the second best holiday of the year. I love being sleep deprived, standing in line for hours, freezing my rear end off, fighting old ladies, standing in the check-out line for ever. Without question it’s a dangerous day to do shopping, I think that is why I enjoy it so much. I enjoy living on the edge. My family takes shopping this day of the year pretty serious too. We lay out a game plan, look and relook through the ads a bazillion times, split up and conquer. This year, we headed over to Logan to do our shopping. My super steals include a quesadilla maker, an amazing pillow, and some sexy cowboy boots. I considered the day a success. It was weird doing my black Friday shopping without my partner in crime, Markel. We have been Black Friday buddies ever since I can remember. One of my favorite Black Friday experiences with her would be our Target experience. We were late arriving to the store, after all we had just destroyed Toys R US, we were clear in the back of the line and had a couple of big items we were trying to grab. So what do we do? We did something everything in America hates. Keep in mind our parents were conquering other stores, they were nowhere in sight. We started yelling “Mom, wait up.” And walked straight though the doors close to the front of the line. I still feel kind of guilty for this incident, but I have repented. Don’t fret. And believe it or not we got all of the items we needed. We rock, I know! Just call us two the best Black Friday shoppers in the history of the universe.

I think they should of casted me to be in all the Target Black Friday commercials because I take it just as seriously. Its like they based them off of my life. Check it out for yourself...

Artistic Touch.

My little sister, Madison, and I can be quite a riot when we get together. For example, just today at lunch my mom and dad were constantly rolling their eyes at the dorky things we were saying and rolling on the floor laughing about. A random things about us, is me and Mad like to communicate using poems and rhymes. Just check out our facebook pages, its stuffed with dumb riddles (especially about the Utah Jazz or Kobe Bryant). For my birthday one year I even got a book filled with Madison's poems. Here are some examples...

Poem 1...

Korver is my favorite man
He is so hot he needs a fan
Boozers name proves hes a drunk
...Maynor better not be a punk
i state again, Kyle is staying
I didn't waste time all these nights praying
11:11, my wish came true
Now this is the end...Boo hoo hoo.

Poem 2

We did some more "research"
and watched a video on K2 church
His dad would always make him toast
he prizes his rock band the very most
In the morning he chomps on Cinnamon toast crunch
...Pb&J's fill his stomach for lunch
On the left, sits his keys
Kyle and Klayton always agree
Mrs. Good was oh so nice
She taught "him" how to write
Never trust KK with a bike
A safer bet would be a trike
Kyle seems accident prone
Like the time he broke his collar bone
Now all i need is time with him alone!

And Our Jazz "theme song" from last year
D-Will is good at passing the ball
Brewer is good with his bad arm
Boozer is good at sucking it up
...Millsap is good off the bench
and Kyle is....HOT!
Almond is good warming the bench
Price is good keeping Almond company
Kirelenko's wife is good at making KK shirts
Okur is good at giving me money
Brevin is good because he has a cool name
and Kyle is....HOT!
Kosta is good at the D-League
Fes is good out back smoking
Harping is good at getting in fights
Collins is good but his twin is better
Miles is good at making the ball fly
and Kyle is...HOT!

Alright, alright. I will admit these are all kinda lame, but me and Mad sure do have a fun time making them up :)
P.s. ask me about the video me and Mad made about our favorite jazz man. Still laughing about that one...

Wedding Bliss.

Yesterday my older sister got married, which means I officially have a brother now. Holla. It was a cold, rainy, windy day. Not only did we practically got blown away waiting outside the temple, but we also got pelted by the rain which in conclusion made us look like orphans who didn't get ready for the day. At the luncheon I had the privilege of being part of the entertainment. I danced to lovely "Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash. Lets just put it this way, there is a reason my mom pulled me out of dance class when I was younger and it was clearly displayed yesterday. Afterwards, the reception was pretty, I got to guard and restock the candy bar (best.job.ever.). I am still a little bitter about Court and D-dawg hiding their car. I had some creative decorating ideas for the occasion, but I guess I will get over it.

Me and my little (but taller) sister freezing our behinds off at the temple

Court and Dillon walking out of the temple

Markel and me at the Luncheon

Me, my 2 little sisters, and Lindsay rocking our bridesmaid dresses

Me and my 2 cousins helping decorate the reception. Yeah, sometimes I act like I am 10.

Epic Fail.

So this past weekend I went to the store, American Eagle if you want me to get specific. I needed some cute winter slippers. As I was standing in line a creeper (nicknamed Bishop because apparently he was as righteous and worthy as his church bishop) approached me and started using ridiculous pickup lines and ice breakers. Eventually he even awkwardly asked for my phone number. As I left the store, shaking my head in disgust and feeling a bit embarrassed for the kid, I couldn’t help but remember all the numerous other times men have used silly pickup lines in order to look cool, but ended up failing miserably. Here is a list of my top ten favorite pick up lines…

Hey baby, You must be from Tennesee........cause your the only Ten-I-See.
Can you give me directions to your heart?
You’re so beautiful that I forgot the rest of this pick up line.
Do you have raisins? No? How about a date?
Your name must be cheerios...cuz you seem healthy for my heart.
You're last name should be Campbells, cus your mmmm... GOOD.
Hey baby, you must be a sweater 'cos you got me feeling warm all over.
Your eyes are as blue as window cleaner.
I’m a thief, I’m here to steal your heart.
How much does a polar bear weigh? Enough to break the ice-can I get your number?
Or my all time favorite… sooo…you’re a girl?

Create.

I absolutely LOVE this video. Just thought I would share.
On a side note, I think they should start playing music in the background during General Conference now. It adds to the experience if I do say so myself.

Learning to Share.

In one week I am going to have to learn to do something I struggle with. Sharing. My older sister is getting married in a week which means I am going to have to share her with her future hubby. I’m not so sure how I feel about this. Courtnie and I have always been real close (except for the time she was in middle school. She was a bit dramatic and would throw her curling iron at me, but that’s a different story). She has always been not only an example to me but also one of my closest friends. I can’t count how many times she would let me hang out with her group of friends during high school. As a little sophomore eating lunch on the table with all the senior football players I thought I was hot stuff. Or after she moved to Logan to attend Utah State, she would always invite me over to spend the weekends with her. After I moved out, she was full of advice and would be the one I would call at 2 in the morning when I just returned from a bad date or had serious roommate problems. Don’t get me wrong, I am real excited for Courtnie, plus I am finally going to get a brother. Dillon will always keep our family laughing, he will make a good addition. This wedding also means they are moving closer to me. Yeah!

I was in charge of putting their wedding video together and came across these picture of us together throughout the years…

President Cami.

Joke of the Day: How do you starve a democrat? Put the food stamps under their working clothes. Muah ha ha…

I am currently majoring in Political Science at UVU. I am completely fascinated by politics. Nothing gets me heated than a good political debate or a new law getting passed I definitely do not agree with. My sophomore year in high school I got involved in the Youth City Council. This is what sparked my passion and got me really thinking about studying politics in college. Once my junior year rolled around, I got a little rebellious and got a speeding ticket, which led me to go to court. Apparently I impressed the judge and got offered the position as a youth court judge. This is what sparked my desire to go to law school. Right now my dream in life is to go to Georgetown Law School, land a job as a lawyer, run for a judge position, and then ideally I would love to either become President of the United States or be appointed as a Supreme Court Justice. I know my dreams are a little far fetched, but I am not one to give up. So when you see me on the ballot for the 2028 Presidential Elections, vote for me! Just like I was taught in my Political Science Class, it is never too early to start campaigning!

Miami Beat.

Just a quick post to let everyone know how amazing my team is...

The Utah Jazz beat the Miami Heat. Apparently they were suppose to be the "dream team." What a joke. Alright, I will admit, the Heat were good. But the Jazz were better. They won 116-114 in overtime. Paulie M. made "king lebron james" look like a nerdy sixth grader out on the court during recess. He put up a solid 46 points. Plus my team did it without all-star Deron Williams who was out due to foul trouble. Here is a good quote by my wise little sister, "Do ya think Lebron is sick of the Utah Jazz? Last year with Gaines and now this? In. His. cocky. little face." Couldn't have said it better myself...

Go Jazz! :)

Romance. Sigh.

"If I could do anything, I would kiss you in the middle of the street on the rainiest day of the year,"

I admit it, I am a hopeless romantic. Especially when it is rainy and depressing days like the one today. Every time I am forced to walk outside all I can picture is the kissing scene from the Notebook. Hands down, that is the best kiss recorded in the history of the universe. Ahh…gives me chills just thinking about it. I also think of the famous spiderman kiss or the steamy kiss between Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried in Dear John, which may I add both also happened in the rain. These days I can’t help but wonder when my fairy tale romance will happen. Don't get me wrong, in no way, shape, or form am I ready to get married yet but every once in a while I can't help but wonder when my time will come. Make sense? All I can say is that I am sure I will learn to enjoy this dreaded rain more when I have that special someone to go lock lips with in this pouring rain. Oh, those days will be joyous...

Karaoke Madness.

Last night I conquered a fear. I sang in front of people. Me, Liz, and Markel were at Guru’s admiring and laughing at other people’s singing abilities. When I somehow convinced these two to come on stage and make a fool out of ourselves together. We busted out “Everybody” by the good ol’ backstreet boys. We figured you can’t go wrong those guys. After we sung our guts out, displayed our killer dance moves, and looked like total idiots, we jumped off stage. It was probably an experience I won’t relive for a couple more years. But hey, I got to mark something off my bucket list. After our singing debut, we headed off to Sparks Lounge and acted like celebrities with our virgin drinks.

On a side note, The jazz won in double overtime to the Clippers last night. Holla Holla!

Yeah, Liz didn't know the song that well. Thats alright, we still love her.

I am WAY to into this.

Martha May.

I have a best friend/Cousin/Roommate. Her name is Markel. (I also call her Martha May, Kel, Murkle, Maria, Markellie Smelly. Oh the list goes on and on...) Me and her have been inseparable since birth. I remember growing up and spending my summers with her in Spanish Fork and Elko. I remember talking to her everyday on my way home from high school. I remember sneaking into my storage room late at night to talk on the phone because my mom had this dumb "no cell phone after 10 pm rule." I remember spending our first week together after moving away from home. I honestly have no idea what I would do without this women. We can read each others minds (seriously..), we both share the same passion for the Utah Jazz, plus we can sit and say absolutely nothing and have the greatest time of our lives. I don't know what I am going to do once we both finally decided to get married and move on. Lets just hope we can find houses next to each other so we can be neighbors :)

Me Familia

This weekend I went home and spent it with my lovely family. It is a riot when we all get together. Bedtimes don't exist, too much junkfood is consumed, and laughter is usually shaking throughout the house. Here are the many reasons why I love my family...

Dad-he lets me sluff Sunday School to go sit in his bishop's office, where he usually feeds me candy. He also does a pretty good job at keeping my car clean and the air pressure full.

Mom- This woman works miracles. Not only does she cook my favorite meals everytime I come home but she...drum roll please...does my laundry! Laundry is BY FAR my least favorite chore. Without her, I would probably be walking around in dirty clothes every day.

Courtnie-not only does her loving fiance give me boy advice, but she is always the person I call at two in the morning when my days just didn't go right. I can't wait until she moves down to lovely Orem next month, i am praying she invites me over for Sunday Dinners :)

Madison-if there is one other person who loves the jazz as much as I do, this would be the woman. She is the only one who understands my hatred for the La Fakers and my admiration for good lookin' Kyle Korver. She is the one who usually keeps me up late at night, and we have too many inside jokes to number.

Darci-i absolutely love the fact that we share the same shoe and clothes size. I love raiding her closet. I have also grown to become her "designated driver" when I am home, meaning I get to go pick her and all her friends up from their teenage parties. I am pretty sure the only reason I kept this job was because I always take the long ways to pick her up, which results in me usually being 30 minutes late. Hey, I know how it feels to be young and in love!

Here are some pics, I mean whats not to love about us?

Grandma.

So, it is official. I am old! Lately I have been going to bed SUPER early. Like 8 or 9 o'clock early. The only person I know who does that is my grandma. I am starting to think there is a serious problem with me. I guess this only means two things... I need to slow down and not constantly be having to be somewhere (maybe skip my early morning class once in a while so I can sleep in) OR the TV needs to start producing more interesting and entertaining shows so I want to stay up late.

Friday, October 22, 2010

College. Sigh.

The way College should be (now if i can only get my parents to see this point of view)...

“You have four years to be irresponsible here. Relax. Work is for people with jobs. You'll never remember class time, but you'll remember time you wasted hanging out with your friends. So, stay out late. Go out on a Tuesday with your friends when you have a paper due Wednesday. Spend money you don't have. The work never ends, but college does..."”

Midterms were last week, and thank goodness they are over. I always seem to stress out way too much when it comes to stuff like that. I worry to much about my grades, my GPA, keeping my scholarship, and most of all getting into Law School. With so much on my plate, I struggle sometime just stopping and smelling the roses and enjoying the wild and unique period of life I am experiencing. I guess this means only one thing, I am going to have to a have a wild weekend to make up for lost time :)

Guilty Pleasures.

Guilty Pleasures...

1. Backstreet Boys
Seriously, who didn't have a crush on Nick Carter?
2. Raw Brownie Batter
Its about twenty times easier to make than cookie dough
3. Glee
We could all use a little more over exaggerated high school drama in our lives
4. E News!
Gotta have your daily dose of paparazzi pics and hear about the latest Lindsay Lohan arrests.
5. Late Night IHOP runs
A personal favorite, especially with Landon and Markel. Lack of sleep always makes for better and more interesting conversations.
6. Spice World
Not gonna lie, I still dream about owning some of those platform shoes
7. Sweatpants
Nothing is better than hopping into sweatpants that are 2 sizes too big.
8. Waffle cone Wednesday
Pretty sure I am single-handedly keeping Coldstone in business.
9. Country Music
Taylor Swift sings about my life stories.
10. NBA Basketball
Nothing like watching attractive men run up and down a court (except Kobe. Looking at him makes me slightly nauseous)

Doorbells.

Today, as I was writing a letter to one of my best friends who is on his mission, I thought back to one cold, winter night. Me, Carlie Jo, Josi, and Carson were sitting in my basement. It was obviously late at night, and SNL came on. This doorbell skit came on, and we laughed about it for years. We still quote it. I think it is so great, I just had to share it with the world. Enjoy!

Utah Jazz.

So the secret it out...I am in love with the Utah Jazz. Shocker Aye?

I have been counting down the days since last April, and finally the season has gotten underway. We are going to be champions this year. We are already 6-0 and shut down our biggest competition (The LA Fakers. I mean Lakers) last night. Here are some pics I took during the pre-season party...

Ryan Thompson and Coach Corbin. They are both saints.

Ronnie Price. Could possibly one of the most awkward people to take pictures with

Nicols and CJ Miles (my twitter buddy) #whatupdoe?

Big Al. This man works miracles.

Had to throw this one in there... Warming the jazz bench at the first game.
