Picture Dump.

I am that mom that feels like she has to take pictures and document every moment. That mom that everyone hates when she asks for the billionth time to pose for yet another picture. That mom that always has her phone in her pocket so she won't miss a photo opp. That mom that has so many pictures they have no idea what to do with them all. So in an effort to do something with those pictures, here is a small preview of the hundreds of photos you would find on my phone right now...
Aunt Madison has already taught Q the "Princess Pose"
Work with Dad
Some Afternoon Tea
Nap time
Austin and Quincy
I told Kennadi to go get dressed. This is the result.

Lizzy Comes Home.

Elizabeth has been spending the last 18 months on a LDS mission in Paris, France. We were all so excited once her mission was coming to a close and she was heading back to the states. Kennadi asked for days, "When is Elizabeth riding on the airplane" and the ride to the airport seemed like forever because Kennadi kept asking about Elizabeth. At the airport, we waited in the terminal for her to come down the stairs. We waited and waited but no signs of Elizabeth, in fact there were no signs of any missionary families. I thought it would take a while for her to go through customs but i didn't anticipate it to take it that long. Finally, I asked a nice, old airport employee about France arrivals. Turns out we were in the wrong terminal all along. Oops! We hustled over to right terminal and thankfully Lizzy hadn't come out yet. Customs take a realllllly long time I've learned.

Kennadi loves her Aunt Elizabeth (as do we all) but Kennadi is very defensive of her. Austin keeps trying to get her to call her Aunt Lizard Breath but Kennadi refuses! It was also fun to have Lizzy meet Quincy. I think she still loved Quincy even if we did break the promise of not having any kids while she was away! Sorry again Lizzy! We are sure glad she is home!

How cute is my little niece?

Quincy | 2 months.

At 2 months Quincy is...

-weighs 10 pounds 11 ounces and 23 inches long.
-in size 1 diapers and still wearing newborn or size 0-3 month clothes.
-sleeps at night from about 10 to 3:30 and then 4 to 7. We really struggle with naps though. She naps a million times better being held.
-is a drool monster.
-eating about every 2 hours except at night. She took her first formula bottle yesterday and rocked it though.
-is so strong! Can lift her head up and starting to put weight on legs. At her two month doctor's appointment, the doctor was amazed at how strong she is!
-hates the car seat. She will scream and cry whenever we have to go anywhere. Kennadi has gotten to the point where she will plug her ears whenever we are in the car because she knows Quincy will be screaming.
-smiling. She is happiest first thing in the morning and is starting to find her voice.
