Easter.

Holidays are always more fun with kids! Easter this year was no exception. We spent the day before Easter at my Grandma and Grandpa Hunt's house. We have an Easter picnic each year complete with fried chicken, my grandma's delicious potato salad, and homemade ice cream. Before we shoved our face full of food, we had a little Easter egg hunt. Kennadi loved looking for the eggs and did a lot better picking them up then I thought she would. Towards the end of the hunt, Kelby's girlfriend, Alexis, found the "golden egg." Her prize was a nice, big engagement ring. I  was so excited to be there and even more excited for them to be getting married! Easter Sunday was spent as any other Sunday. We went to church and then Kennadi was greeted at home with an Easter basket by the Easter bunny. We decided to keep it simple this year and just gave her things for our California trip. Inside the basket was beach toys, coloring books, and snacks for the car trip. I would say it was a successful holiday!
