Easter Morning.
The girls were pleasantly surprised that the Easter Bunny made a stop at our house this year. They got loaded up on candy, chocolate, new spring clothes and pajamas. Kennadi thought this was the "best holiday ever." And she probably said that at least 10 times throughout the morning. Quincy just cared about the chocolate and we couldn't feed her sweets fast enough! These girls sure make holidays 100% better!

Easter Egg Hunt.
Saratoga Springs held a city wide Easter Egg Hunt and I thought it would be a good experience for Kennadi. She had never been to an Easter Egg Hunt and once i said the word "candy" she was in. Once the hunt started, I quickly learned I probably should have prepped her a little better. Kennadi didn't want to pick up all the eggs or candy. She only wanted the pink ones. So she ran past tons of eggs and toys scattered across the grass to find a certain colored ones. So she didn't come away with as much candy as she could have, but it is probably a good thing she was so picky--Less sugar!

Disney On Ice.
For Christmas, Kennadi got tickets to go watch Disney on Ice. Kennadi and I, along with my mom and Madison, ventured up to Salt Lake City to watch the show. Kennadi had been so excited to see it. She had been watching Youtube videos to prep herself and so she would know what to expect. She also had her outfit and hairstyle all picked out for days leading up to it. She was ready! Once the show started, Kennadi was mesmerized. She would clap and cheer when the characters would come out. She sang along with the songs, She sat on the edge of her seat throughout most of the show. She was in her element! I love having a little girl as into the princesses as Kennadi is.

Provo City Center Temple Open house.
With another temple being built so close to us, we felt it was only right to take the girls to the open house. We went with my parents, Madison, and Darci. The line to get into the temple was crazy! Even with tickets we had to wait in line for a good chunk of time. It was well worth the wait though. The temple was beautifully done. It had a very pioneer/vintage feel to it. I loved the spiral staircases and the stained glass windows. The furniture matched the vibe they were going for. It felt like you were stepping back in time. Kennadi was ecstatic to be in Jesus's house. I am glad that so many temples are being built close by so that I can take my girls through the temple and show them the importance of these buildings. Even though Kennadi is young I know that she is gaining a testimony of the temple because of these open houses.
