Grizzlies Hockey Game.
With our Pass Of All Passes, we get into a few select Utah Grizzlies Hockey Games. Fortunately for us, one of the games landed on Austin's day off. So it was a no brainer to pack up the crew and go to the game. A lot of Austin's family were able to join us so it was one big party! The girls loved hanging out with their cousins, dancing around, and meeting the mascot. I ended up chasing Quincy around the halls during most of the game, but it was still a good time. I was able to watch a few good hockey fights, so I was content.

Disneyland | Part 3.
On the second day, we attacked California Adventure. We started out at Cars Land and Radiator Racing seemed to be the favorite ride of the day. We rode that one a few times (thank you rainy weather and no lines). We tried the Brioche French Toast at Flo's Cafe and I'm pretty confident it is now a California Adventure staple for future trips. It was soo yummy, highly recommend it. We loved Soaring over the World, Toy Story Mania, and the Frozen Play. Another highlight was going to Turtle Talk with Crush. Kennadi was able to ask Crush a question and it was so cute. She wasn't shy at all and just owned it. That night, we watched World of Color and soaked up our last night in California.
Kennadi ended up sleeping most of the drive home, I think we wore her right out. She was so excited to see Quincy at Grandma and Grandpa's house though. I lost count how many times in the park she would say, "I bet Quincy would love this." I guess we will need to convince Austin to take us back soon.

Disneyland | Part 2.
When we woke up in the morning, ready to conquer Day 1 of the parks, we quickly realized it was pouring rain outside. We didn't let a little rain put a damper on our trip though. We just bundled up in our rain clothes, grabbed our umbrellas, and went on our way. It was actually soooo nice having it be stormy. The cooler temperatures made the days endurable and the crowds were non existent which meant no lines! We spent the whole first day at Disneyland. Kennadi was tall enough to ride almost every ride so we were able to do everything together. Space Mountain and Splash Mountain seemed to be the favorites so we rode those multiple times. Kennadi also was thrilled to see all the princesses. Thanks to a tip from Madison, we lingered after a play and Belle came and spent a good chunk of time chatting with Kennadi. Kennadi thought she was pretty hot stuff. Thanks Madison! At the end of the day, we watched the Main Street Electric Light Parade. I remember watching it when I was a kid, so I was so happy to see it back in Disneyland and relive the experience with my little family. During the parade, Kennadi was once again treated like royalty. She was singled out and given a huge crown made out of Mickey stickers. It was the perfect ending of the night. By the time the parade was over, we were all exhausted. Kennadi ended up falling asleep as soon as she sat down on the shuttle ride back to the hotel. We wore her right out and were about to do the same thing again the next day...

Disneyland | Part 1.
I am not exaggerating when I say Kennadi is obsessed with Disneyland. Like full blown obsessed. She plays Disneyland, watches videos on Disneyland, and talks to Madison nonstop about Disneyland. With her obsession, I knew we needed to take her to Disneyland asap, so Austin and I set out to take her on a surprise trip. Kennadi thought we were just going down for a weekend getaway to Grandma and Grandpa Packer's house. What she didn't know is that it was just a little pit stop along the way to Disneyland! Plus Grandma and Grandpa were kind enough to watch Quincy so we could spend some one-on-one time with Kennadi at the happiest place on earth.
We woke Kennadi up on Sunday morning and she found a huge present wrapped in the living room. When she opened the present, some balloons, Disney shirts, and our tickets were inside the box. Once she realized what it meant, she was soo surprised and excited. She ate her breakfast and got ready in record time. When I was fixing her hair, she kept telling me, "Is this real life? I'm so surprised. This is the best day ever." What she didn't realize is we still had a long day in the car until we got to Disneyland. Kennadi was a champion during the drive though. She refused to sleep because she did not want to miss anything.
When we pulled up in front of Disneyland, she just lit up. She loved pointing the rides out and watching people decked out in their mickey ears walk across the streets. She also loved getting to stay in a hotel and seeing Disneyland right out our window. She had a huge grin on her face and I don't think it left the whole time we were in California.
The day we arrived in Anaheim, we walked over to Downtown Disney to do some shopping and to eat at the Rainforest Cafe. That night we sat in our hotel room and watched the fireworks go off above the castle. It was a pretty magical way to kick off our trip.
