Tulip Festival.

We love having a Thanksgiving Point Membership especially during the spring when the Tulip Festival is in full swing. Kennadi loved being able to be the little navigator using the map. She guided us throughout the whole gardens. Quincy loved riding along in the stroller as well as sticking her nose in all the flowers and sniffing them. I have a feeling we will be spending a lot of time at the gardens this year!

Quincy's First Birthday Party.

To celebrate Quincy Surviving her first year, we threw a little party at our neighborhood clubhouse. I went with a library/book theme. All of the food coordinated with a book and we decorated with books and library cards. We are so blessed to have such a supporting family that came out to celebrate with us. I think Quincy was a bit hesitant with all the attention, but it was nothing some cupcakes and presents couldn't fix!

Ashley Huish is our go to photographer, so of course I had to have her document Miss Quincy turning one. Quincy sure made us work for the pictures. She did not want to smile and wasn't even that interested in the cake which is so unlike her! Luckily Ashley is a rock star, and patty cake and peekaboo helped us capture some good shots. See for yourself. There is nothing cuter than a baby covered in cake and frosting!

Quincy | 1 Year.

At One Year Quincy is...

-Weighs 19 pounds and 29.5 inches long.
-In 12 month clothes and size 3 diapers.

-An expert at the kissing game, both blowing kisses and kisses on the lips (even if the lips ones are open mouth and pretty slobbery).

-Has 2 teeth with 2 more barely poking through.

-Hair is finally long enough for little pig tails.

-Can stand by herself for a long period of time.

-No interest in walking. She will cruise if we are holding her hand, but if she is on her own she will instantly fall to her knees and crawl.

-A daddy's girl. If dad is around she could care less about everyone else!

-Loves food! She thinks she always needs to be snacking!
